Sony Finally opens an Australian Store

So finally 3 years after they launch the reader down under the get around to opening a local reader store. https://au.readerstore.sony.com/

They are offering a free book to those that sign up no details as yet to what that book is as I'm still waiting for the account confirmation email

The site seems clunky, and the prices seem high - I bought Dodger by Terry Pratchett from Diesel at a third of the price that Sony is asking.

Ah. They took their time about it, but at least they're here now. Between them, the recently opened JBHiFi ebook store, and existing competitors such as Amazon and Kobo, I hope it's easier and more affordable now to get local works in particular.

Anyone know who's behind JBs store? I assume that someone else is behind the backend like the Angus & Roberston and Kobo arrangement.
