Hi, pkbo,
I have coolreader on PB 602 and find that I can't use dictionary on the last page of every chapter. The dictionary opens but there is no highlighting of any word. You can try the preloaded book Pride and Prejudice. Thank you. |

I find that when looking at code samples in O'Reilly epubs, the separate lines of code in a block just run together into one long line with "?" symbols where the line breaks should be. It makes complicated code very difficult to read. I vaguely remember that this used to display correctly when I first tried pkbo's coolreader app many months ago (back before the epub.css file was customized for use with PB devices). Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

Is this with v0.0.5-9? It is known that the latest version contains formatting bugs the author of the CR Buggins have reimplemented formatter from the start and unfortunately have added some bugs. So please use version 0.5-6 for now. I will let you know when stable release will be out.

Edit: I can confirm that 0.5-6 displays the code blocks correctly. Last edited by rkomar; 08-03-2011 at 09:57 PM. |

Thank you, pkbo. The dictionary problem is gone now.
If you have time, could you please give new advice on how to make CR show Chinese characters in chm files? CR can open chm files that FB reader can't but can't show Chinese properly with Arial MS unicode...I tried change the properties of chm files but it didn't help. The same issue is with dictionaries that contain Chinese characters. In CR setting interface the dictionary title (in Chinese) doesn't show properly. When open the dictionary, the dictionary title shows in the menu bar but Chinese characters don't show in the dictionary content below. Thank you. |
