Zusammenfassung:
Mit Calibre die USB Daten ermitteln. Bei mir kam raus:

USB Vendor ID (in hex): 0xfffe
USB Product ID (in hex): 0x0001
USB Revision ID (hexadezimal): 0x0230
Händlerzeichenfolge des Windows-Hauptspeichers: USB_2.0
ID Zeichenfolge des Windows-Hauptspeichers: USB_FLASH_DRIVER
Händler-Zeichenfolge der Windows-Karte A: USB_FLASH_DRIVER
ID-Zeichenfolge der Windows-Karte A: USB_FLASH_DRIVER

Die Werte dann in Einstellungen/Plugins/Geräte Schittstellen Plugins/User Defined USB driver eintragen und Calibre neu starten.

Achja der Reader kann epub fb2 prc mobi pdf djvu rtf chm doc tnx

Wenn man schon dabei ist den Artikel Calibre: Metadaten (Serieninfos) korrekt an Ereader übertragen durcharbeiten.
Richtig hilfreich waren dabei die Artikel #4 und #17 (aktuelle Datei opf2.py für Calibre 2.8)

Bücher erneut übertragen und es läuft alles mit der neuen Software.

Gibt es eigendlich bei der Firmware 5.4 noch den fbreader?

Habe nichts gefunden um den aufzurufen. Wäre schade wenn der bei dem Update rausgefallen ist.

Beim Ultra scheint es so das nur noch ein Reader für alles drauf ist, zumindest werden fb2 mit der gleichen UI wie epubs geöffnet und die exension.cfg aus den älteren Modellen funktioniert auch nicht mehr.

Ich vermute mal das es beim 8" genauso ist.

Falls jemand noch einen Inkpad sucht kann er es bei SMDV versuchen

Ich hatte am 30.10. bestellt - da war Verfügbarkeit für 12.11. angezeigt

Habe heute die Versandmitteilung bekommen.

Momentan zeigt SMDV lieferbar ab 18.11. - evtl. kriegen die ja auch zwischendrin eine Lieferung rein.

Im Netz gibts noch ein 6,66 EUR GS für SMDV - also Endpreis etwa 183

SMDV hatte es ja um 181,50 drin, inzwischen dort auch Normalpreis.

Ich warte ab. Ich will reguläre Lieferbarkeit sehen (schon allein wenn man ein Montagsmodell erwischt und nicht auf Ersatz warten müssen will), und Tests lassen auch noch auf sich warten. Habs ja nicht eilig, mein alter Reader tut ja auch noch.

@frostschutz - ja kann ich nachvollziehen

Brauchen tu ich jetzt eReader Nr. 4 jetzt auch nicht - aber ein neues Spielzeug ist schon schön :-)

ich hab noch zum alten Preis bestellt - also 175.-

Ich denke solange die Liefersituation so knapp ist und es keine Konkurrenz im 8" Bereich gibt wird der Preis auch nicht viel fallen

Also gleiche Bücher und wenn möglich die gelesen Markierung.

Du scheinst Calibre nicht zu kennen: Calibre sieht jedesmal nach was für Bücher auf dem Reader gespeichert sind und bietet dir an die fehlenden zu übertagen. Das mit der gelesen Markierung ist nicht möglich da die Bücher auf dem PC gespeichert sind.

Na ja - calibre scheint nur dann anzuzeigen daß ein Buch auch auf dem Reader ist, wenn der angeschlossen ist - sieht nicht so aus als ob das in der calibre DB gespeichert ist.
Das heißt ich müßte dann jedesmal beide Reader anschließen um zu sehen welche Bücher unterschiedlich sind.

Ähnlich mit der Gelesen Markierung - die ist auf der DB im Reader gespeichert und wird standardmaßig nicht von calibre gelesen und in die calibre DB übertragen.

Für Kobo gibts mit den Kobo utilities plugin die Möglichkeit reading status zu lesen und in die calibre DB zu übertragen - für PocketBook hab ich sowas noch nicht gefunden.

Ist schwierig das mit dem Lesefortschritt. Jeder Reader dreht da sein eigenes Ding, und nicht bei jedem Reader sind diese Daten dann auch tatsächlich auf dem USB-Speicher sichtbar.

Eigentlich gehört dafür ein Standard her, als Teil des Ebook-Formats, aber hätte wäre wenn.
