Changing all the converts in a batch

I got lot of PDF files in my Calibre library and I wanted to change the covers so I can select my files easily. I use to do it manually file by file:

Edit metadata->Edit metadata individually->choose cover from book.

But this is insane for such an amount of PDF files.

Is there any way to do a batch change for several covers at the same time? (I'd wish to get always the first page of the PDF as the cover page)

select all the books, click edit metadata and select the option at the bottom to set the cover from ebook file

Hello all!

I got a lot of PDF files in my Calibre library. I would like to set the first page of the PDF as the cover for all of them.

At this time I'm using:
Edit metadata->Edit metadata individually->Choose cover from book

Is it possible to do that in a batch format with a plugin or something like that?

Bulk Mode of the MDE. (select all you want to do): Tap 'E'
Down near the bottom is the Cover actions: Look near the right

I have tried:
1. Select several pdfs in the library
2. Edit metadata
3. Change cover->Set from e-book files
4 Apply->OK

but still I can not see the covers in the library. I am using the portable last version (6.29.0)

Ok! found. It was a problem with the access priviledges of the files. Now it works properly. Thank you very much!
