The Only Suspect - A mystery novella
The Only Suspect

When there is a theft in any of the high-rises in an Indian city, there is just one type of suspect, the house-help. So it’s no surprise that when a lot of cash disappears from the Desai household, their recently employed maid Reshma is arrested, even in the absence of hard evidence.

Nisha, a long term employer of Reshma, is convinced of her innocence. But how can she convince everyone else? By finding the real culprit, of course. Can this nerdy science teacher turn detective, and successfully solve the case?

Nisha has to wade through various social prejudices in her quest for the truth. Where will it lead her? Read on to find out ....

The epub is only 99 cents (and DRM-free) at Smashwords. That strikes me as pretty reasonable.

But, the author does have several other books available in epub at Smashwords for free if you want to get a feel for her style.

Thanks. Yes, I made the PDF free so one could decide if they liked how it was going and decide if they wanted to buy it. And yes, several other books are indeed free on smashwords.
