Ubuntu on Kindle

Okay, don't get too excited yet - I'm asking, not sharing.

Anyway, my question is whether anyone has heard anything about hacking or a full Linux distribution on it.

And I'm wondering if anyone would want to do that (and lose some of the custom Amazon software for readers).

I'm sure it's possible, maybe not ubuntu, but you can make/whatever a distro for them, as has been done with many phones, i.e. the n900
