This Week Spring has Sprung Here with Quiet Enthusiasm!

Hello,
I have been reading this Forum for several days now, and have found it useful and with well-informed responses.

This whole concept of e-books and e-readers seem to be undergoing a convergence, where the quiet bubbling in the background has risen to the cusp of a crescendo.

E-Readers are, it seems, about to leave the ranks of the "Early Adopters" and soon to join the ranks of Ipod-like dissemination. I hope that will mean the e-readers become better, and prices become more reasonable.

Hi zeitgeist and welcome to the Forum. Be sure and let us know how you like your Sony when you get it. I got one back in January and like it a lot.

Hope your opinion of ebooks and readers is right on.

Hi, Zeigtgeist:

Welcome to MobileRead:

I totally agree with you that ebook reading is ready to take the leap into the mainstream. As you say, I think this does indeed bode well for prices and for variety among the hardware.

We early adoptors have a lot to look forward to.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to post them.
