Updating calibre with New Firmware

Where in the calibre code does new Kobo firmware versions get added so calibre knows about it?

I'd do it if I know where and what to do. We have a new firmware and yet the new calibre doesn't know about it. I expect to be flooded with people asking how to run calibre with the new firmware.

I'd like to stop this ASAP (now in two weeks).

Thanks.
