Help ! Manually copying LRF's onto Sony PRS-500
I'm currently without personal access to a computer on which I could install programs either Sony Connect or Calibre along with the associated driver to access my Sony PRS-500. There are some LRF books I want to copy.
I currently store a lot of my books on a memory card and also have a memory card writer. I would like to know whether it would be possible to manually copy the LRF's I want onto the memory card's Books directory and make relevant updates to the cache.xml and cache2.xml. And if so, what fields would have to be upated or a guide to the same. Thanks. |

I believe that if you delete the media.xml then the reader will reread the card and generate a new one.
