Issue with Images Size in Output Profile

I have upgraded Calibre from 6.14.1 to 7.7.0 and the output profile in page setup doesn't resize the images. I have installed Calibre on another computer with the same results. This feature is very useful for not using too much space in files with many images. The output formats I have tried are EPUB and KFX. Thanks in advance.

What output profile are you using?
Have you used polish books to reduce the image size (bytes)?

Under the epub output section make sure you have a correct value for the setting shrink images larger than

I'm using a Kindle Oasis profile, but when I try others, the problem is the same. Polish books help a little, but resize is better for high-resolution images.

Thanks, that worked. Is there a way to use it in another output format, like KFX (it doesn't have a setting to "shrink images larger than")? Previously, the output profile could do this.

No you would have to ask the author of the kfx output plugin to add such an option. In modern calibre images are not downscaled by default as modern devices are fine with larger images.
