Just fire-up Sigil with an empty epub and size things to what you want. Then save-as the empty epub, then use the Sigil Quit menu to exit.

This should properly create the ini file to be used on next launch.

Hmm, sorry ro say... it should... but it doesnt ;(

It remembers everx setting i'm changing, for example the search settings. If i change regex to to normal this is the setting after lauching sigil again. Same with dotall or minmal width. And i can see these settings in the ini file looking at it with a text editot (true/false). So the ini file is written. But either the window size is not written or its not read...

Do you, by chance, have the Find/Replace widget open when you close Sigil? If so, try closing the Find/Replace widget before you close Sigil and see if the window size/position is retained the next time you open.

This was an issue for me with 0.9.12, though 0.9.14 fixed it for me and I haven't had this problem since. However, it seems to still affect some Macs.
