Does the paperwhite have an option to disable simple tapping for page turns? So that you have to actually slide to turn a page?

By the way, the tragic flaw mentioned in the review sounds pretty fatal to me.

Not to me. Other reviewers say it is the best ereader to hold, physically. My Sony T1 has a very narrow bezel and it is not a problem to hold and read one handed, using a finger to turn pages.

I'm not keen on the new main screen, I hope it is customisable because I don't want "suggested books" there. Feels like you can't get away from being advertised to.
