My thought was that he picture was of the "Connected" screen which is always "dark mode". And I have similar lines on the Forma my wife was using. They show up much better on the mainly black screen.

I had a similar problem. My screen showed vertical and horizontal lines, however not consistently over the whole screen but rather half or parts. Firstly, I thought it was a driver image problem but as I opened the back and just moved the screen connection cable the problem got solved. So I guess just a bad connection.
