Are you trying to make this automatic? Otherwise just adding images large enough to cover the page should work fine. you go to the next page and the next image will appear. I am not sure what you want. Firefox is an html browser. Adding eBook Publisher makes it read ePub files but since it is still a browser it will still have browser features. This is why it seemed to work for you. You need to always test with a real ebook Reader such and Adobe Digitial Editions, a free download.

For your first eBook you might do something simpler first... Read into the format via the Wiki of this site or the site of Jedisaber. When you get a feeling for the format, try to create some simple books and fool around with styles to see what happens.
Always try your books in at least Adobe Digital Edition to see how it looks. That is not 100%, but gives a very good impression. |

You could convert your slideshow to a flash video and embed it in the epub.
