Have you made your book(s) available in a variety of formats? Kindle, while the dominant reader and book format is hardly the only one available. Does your book publication contract allow you to sell the books yourself in addition to the publisher? If so it might be an idea to set up a web site that can sell the books as well in a variety of different formats? Calibre can do the format translations for you at a cost of $0 so there is nothing lost there. Have you visited the writer's section of this forum and started to promote your works there?

I know Ian well. In fact he lives along the road from me in Edinburgh. We appeared together on New Year's Day celebrating Edinburgh as a city of literature. He's just back from a tour of the States.
Most Scottish crime writers know each other. Alexander McCall Smith is also a neighbour. |
