WRITERS/AUTHORS: Scrivener for Windows Beta 1 is now available
Scrivener is the most popular writing program available for the Mcintosh.
The company just sent me an email telling me that a Beta 1 version is available for download. The Beta program will function a few days into December, at which time (presumably), a Beta 2 will be available. What a shame, Poetry template is not active, but otherwise it looks very interesting and smart.

So they finally figured out that targeting the OS that represents 95% of the global market is a good business move.
Took them a while. |

All we need now is a Linux version . . .

I took a look at the page, but I decided against the Beta because I don't want to grow attached to software that I can't afford. (If it cost five cents I could not justify the expense. )
I pretty much have to stick to Open Source, but it looks excellent. |

Bah, they don't have a version yet for Linux. So I guess I won't be using it until then. Oh well. Back to OpenOffice I guess.
