I have to add my thank you and congratulations! I love Calibre and have been using it for a couple of years now. Just this evening, I finally was able to get my daughter over and help her set it up with different libraries for her different kids. She was very impressed too! (I can't believe it's taken her so long to be convinced to get Calibre!)

I don't think I would have ever become a mostly digital reader if not for Calibre. I first downloaded the program in late 2008 and I've been amazed by the constant changes/improvements.
Congrats again to Kovid and the whole team. And many, many thanks. |

Best. Beta test. Ever!
I'd put Calibre 1.0 against any 6.0 MS product.... Congrats! Oh, and Alex: not to get too existential (does the code dream the coder), but I'm pretty sure Calibre is the brainchild of Kovid, not the other way around. ApK |

Hey guys, I'm late to the party, but congratulations to Kovid and the whole team on this milestone!
(Honestly, I would have guessed you would have just continued on 0.x versions... ) |

I have to add my thanks for keeping up such excellent linux support!!!
Because the simplicity of keeping it up-to-date is what keeps me loving this programme! It may not sound like much considering all the features and great things people have been commenting on, but for me, good linux support or not, is often the deciding factor. So thanks for supporting us underdogs |

@Uschiekid: I develop calibre on linux, so linux is pretty much the best supported OS.
