media web sites and the browser
First, I'm new to Android, and I have a plain old dumb phone. 'nuff said.
I tried to download some android apps without success. Namely Pandora, Google Maps, mother TED talks, and that star-finding thing. It occurred to me that I shouldn't need the apps if I have the browser, but neither Pandora nor the TED talks will load. Neither will YouTube. I haven't monkeyed with the astronomy thing or google maps yet. I suppose the star thing won't work because the edge doesn't have an accelerometer. So. Is it me, or are these things that will be fixed? Haven't tried (so how about) NetFlix? |

Isn't it really a function of Android not having the Flash support in 1.6? I thought I read somewhere that Android 2.1 would have support for it.
