Sortable tables in epub?

Hi,

Is it possible to include a sortable table into an epub (like the one that is achieved by using a ‘table class=“sortable” tag)?

I tried using this tag in sigil, but its compiler seems to either ignore it or give an error.

AFAIK not in epub2, but maybe in some sort of epub3 using a feature that only works in a handful of apps. It breaks the concept of an ebook to have interactivity.

Loads of Webpage stuff either doesn't work or is inappropriate especially on eink.

Only under epub3 and by means of javascript. AFAIK, all epub3 readers I know, they support javascript quite well. So, if you are forced to work under epub2, you can forget your idea of having a sortable table.
