At Border's, though, the coupon is applied to the list price, not the sale price.

Their author search used to work better - it searched only the author field if you clicked on the author name while looking at a book (and apparently added qutoes). Now it gives you the same nonsense results you get from anything else, with hundreds (or thousands) of unrelated "matches".

I noticed that, too. Their new auto complete thing doesn't work any better for authors, either. Still gives the same nonsense.

I agree with you, Koland.

I am having problems with Kobobooks Search Engine...searching for authors are a hassle these days...publishers are ok...though but browsing through can be a little tedious.

What I did was I google "Kobobooks" and "Author" and "Title of the Ebook"...so far, it works ok ( touch wood )...manage to grab a few latest ebooks with this method.

Put your author name in quotes, for example "Louise Penny".

I posted this in another thread, but I'll repeat it here. Borders and Kobo have the same ebookstore, but Borders' search function is far superior. Look for your books at Borders, then buy them at Kobo.

I've gotten a week's worth of 10% discounts.

I've been using the non contest coupon for 30% off instead.

SpinWin50 is for 50% off you have to capitalize Spin and Win

It works for me without caps.

I've used this coupon many times without any problems, but I can see how you would think it was the coupon if it was the last 2 books you had trouble with.
