New Cloud Feature
Hi Chaley.
Can I switch between multiple libraries in the same cloud? Thanks |

Yes. Connect to the cloud provider. After you are connected you can see "Change cloud libraries" in the menu. Tap that and you will be shown a list of libraries you have already seen, as well as "Use folder navigator" to go to a library you haven't already opened.

That's fantastic. Thank you so much for the new feature. The only thing I'm missing would be that it would be fantastic if I in Calibre could have a rule that show me what is in the cloud already

I am not sure what you are looking for. Putting aside issues related to the time required to sync changes, a calibre library is either in the cloud or it isn't. It can't be half in/half out. What would this "rule" do?

I would just like a way to make a reading list (like for a device) to show me what's in the cloud, that way I could avoid having duplicates in my cloud library. Does that make more sense ?

I think I understand. You are copying from non-cloud libraries to cloud libraries, and you want to know for a given book in the source library whether it is already in the destination library. I don't know of any way to do that.

Yes that would be it Do you know if it's possible to add that feature to Calibre in the future?

Could you partially solve the problem by having a tag (or yes/no column or something) that you set when you copy a book? Of course this would not handle deletions or changes in either library, which might make it a less-than-useful idea. |

That would be useful. I'll try that.
Thank you so much for the new Cloud feature. |

Periodically you'd need to clear the tag/icon signal and rerun FD->FLD, frequency would depend on volatility of the 'cloud library' I guess. BR |
