6th grade science project... ereaders vs paperbooks!! HELP
HI there,
My son is working on his 6th grade science project and we need help collecting more survey responses from e-reading people. Most of his friends and ours still read paper books. He is convinced that those who have e-readers read MORE, because its so easy to just download a new book. If you have time, we would appreciate your help in gathering more e-readers for our survey. Here is the link. It is on surverymonkey.com... you can check out the website if you are worried to click on the link.... Can you please take a minute to help my son NOAH collect information for his 6th Grade Science Project. It is just 5 quick questions!! Also, can you post this to your profile to help us collect over 50 responses!!! He really needs the help!! http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/N99S5FC We will post results as we get them!!! |

Good luck on the Science Project. Sounds like a novel idea to do one on ereader vs. pbook reading.

A barrow is an ancient tomb. To borrow is to obtain a temporary loan. I think Noah (or NOAH, as you put it) might want to know the difference.
You'll find that the people around MobileRead, by and large, will read anything with words on it. Pbook, ebook, back of the cereal box ... it doesn't matter; if it's got words, we'll read it. We're probably not a very good sample of the population as a whole. I had to assume that by "how many did you read?" you meant books read from start to finish. If you include reference works that I read parts of as I needed (everything from computer books to history) that number would increase considerably, as would it if I included books I still haven't finished. I only considered books started and finished within the last 3 months. |

Hmm. I didn't even notice that when I read the questions. Probably a typo of course, but it's interesting how the eye skims over some errors without really seeing them.

I know I'm going to sound like a royal witch, but I really hate it when parents do their childrens' homework for them.

I don't see the post as doing his homework. It looks like he created the poll. I assume he will put together the results. Mom just let us know of an opportunity to help out.
