Where do I begin

I have a vision problem and I´m not sure what size screen I need but that is an important factor. Also I would greatly appreciate something lightweight
(I know most readers are comparatively lightweight but one of my thoughts has been directed at a "lightweight" older model of a laptop or notebook stripped of most of the fancy whizbangs and just good enough for a reader/viewer function).
Can someone also, please tell me something aboute the Jinke Hanlin models and if and where they are available in the US?

Well, obviously, in your situation, larger is going to be better, but I'd suggest you look at the size of print available on a given unit, as well as its display size.

That being said, some 9.7" devices are expected out sometime this year, so those might be worth looking into to see if you want to wait on them.

The HanLin devices are available in the U.S. but you pretty much have to contact the company directly in China to purchase them. As for info on them I thin the best we've got is probably in the HanLin subforum. I'm afraid I don't have any real info to offer on them myself.
