I am thinking to buy a PB 902/903. The function that I care the most is note-taking / annotation for PDF. Can I highlight PDF text? Can I underline PDF text? Can I write comments?

Also, for PB 903, can I markup PDF with freehand using stylus?

Could anyone help comment on these issues? Thanks so much for the help.

Or in Germany ? It seems to be available only in limited countries.
Therefore it's no better regarding avaílability.

if this is true, it does indeed look very good and well priced (€320) - and as I cared about note taking and touchscreen, but not much about 3G (if it has got wifi), then considering this is also lighter than the PB903, I am having a re-think.
This article says it will be available in Europe "early next year", of course this may mean January but might also mean March...

EDIT: according to this article, it may hit the shops any time this month!

Damn, that thing looks sweet. I've already got my 902 though. Hmm, but it looks it has a lower resolution than the 902 (1024 x 768 px at 150ppi VS 1200 х 825 px at 155 ppi). Also it supports less fileformats. But a touchscreen really would be handy. And it has 4 Gigs of memory, an included power adapter and book-cover. Should I return the 902 and buy the dr900 instead?!

you see, I have preordered a PB903 at the end of October - and delays keep accumulating on delays, so this is looking like I won't get it before Christmas, if ever. And the thing which worries me is that I am not even sure that by the time I get it, the machine will be fully functional, since we are still wating for the firmware update (again, delays upon delays). Since I am no software geek, I need a dumb-proof machine, and now I am not sure the PB903 is the right option at this point in time.

Now I do understand (well, should say hope!) the guys at pocketbook are working their socks off, and are rather overstretched and understaffed - but the fact remains that I forked out my money five weeks ago, and still no machine in sight. So:

According to this comparison the e-ink screen is much better than the sipix. If this is true, i'll keep my 902, since readability is very important to me. Can anybody say something about the sipix screen first hand?

Take a look at the 9" M-Reader (www.pixelar.co.uk).
It looks also nice but it's also delayed time after time like Pocketbook.
Who said this wouldn't be true for DR-900 ?

I don't get your point. The dr900 is scheduled for december, the M-reader can't even get preordered. Also your post has nothing to do with technical specs of the readers.

No, Pocketbook doesn't have SiPix. They have Vizplex.
