Doesn't dark mode do more frequent full refreshes?

While we're on my case, can anyone tell me how to clean a screen like the PW4?

That’s my feeling too. I tend to turn up the front light more in dark mode than normal. |

I don’t think turning up the front light increases (physical) contrast, so much as makes it easier for eyes to focus. Even if you have good visual acuity, if iris is opened up to max it makes focus more difficult.
I think it would be interesting to measure the physical contrast at various light levels and see if it ‘actually’ changes that much. Of course, in the end, contrast perception is subjective (generated by brain). |

On my Glo HD in dark mode, I have the light set to 8; in normal mode I have it set to 30.

Thanks, JSWolf! I was confused when I used water yesterday. There were a lot of marks left by the water. I panicked but once it evaporated, the screen was as good as new.

Also, don't be afraid to use screen cleaner, or eyeglass cleaner. Evaporates faster and easier to get streak free. Works great on phones too.

A mixture of water and isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol works well, each dissolves some things that the other does not. This mixture is the solvent used in at least some screen wipes.

Saliva also works well, but maybe not immediately after having some anchovy pizza.
