Can we install the Lite version of Duokan on a Kindle DX after installing the Kindle 3 software on the latter? (does the jailbreak make this impossible?)

Well the jailbreak is uninstallable for kindle firmwares 3.x on kindle DX. Even if you could i don't think it will work though. Duokan lite is only for kindle 3s.

I suffered a problem when installing this update. i upgraded using: copying new to existing DK folder and rebooting the system, then my right side Next Page button stops working (this problem affects both kindle reader, and cool reader). If i read a text using kindle reader, it activates 'find text' and acts like a space button. But Next Pages does work on Duokan lite. Anyone had this?

it produces exactly the same output as you mention.

Apart from this I have no idea since I didn't heard of this problem before.

Dear Thomass,

Can you kindly explain how to download news/rss feeds in DK_News folder.
I understand this uses dogear.mobi site for converting RSS feed to mobi/epub and then user@iduokan.com push email to download via Wifi

The instructions on duokan.com are in Chinese and I am unable to understand.

First of all you should register and get a @iduokan address to use this service. (on Duokan's settings page)

at the buttom right of the page there is an option to use the site in English.
(ie this link http://dog.whycai.com/?lang=en_US )

then login with your google account. > use "Manage your kindle" to set your duokan/kindle mail address> turn back to feed subscription page (http://dog.whycai.com/) >Subscribe to a feed.

You can also add a feed to subscribe.
