HELP!! My old SS Hack didn't uninstall??

I had the ss and jailbreak installed on my 3.02 FW for my K3. My kindle automatically updated to 3.1. I followed each of the steps to install the new jailbreak and then uninstall the old SS and then old jailbreak hack. BUT, when it was all done I saw my old screen savers and see that the ss bin didn't uninstall. Perhaps I didn't update my kindle in between (not sure). Now I can't go and uninstall because I don't have the old jailbreak. Should I go in and reinstall the old jailbreak? Is it compatible with 3.1? Please help!!!

I'm curious, would installing the new 3.1 hack by Yifanlu enable the ability to uninstall the old hack?

EDIT: The old jailbreak will not work with 3.1, however the new jailbrake should allow you do install/uninstall hacks. But I have no idea if it is able to uninstall the old jailbreak.

After many hours, I believe I have totally removed all old jailbreaks and hacks from my 3.1 Kindle. I DID have to go in and manually delete the linkss folder. It is now back to the old screensavers and, though I'm probably nuts, I am ready to try and install a new jailbreak and ss hack. Does anyone have the most recent link to the one I need? I'm not sure as to use the one from NiLuje or YifanLu. I believe it wouldn't be an update, but just a jailbreak and hack for 3.1?

You use the NEW jailbreak from YifanLu. Then you use the screensaver hack from NiLuje (could either of those hacker names be harder to type manually?). At least, that is what I did.
