Warhammer Age of Sigmar Primer is a lavishly-illustrated handbook/artbook guide to what looks like the latest installment in the highly popular Warhammer series of RPG epic fantasy wargames and tie-in novels (Wikipedia), free courtesy of publisher Games Workshop.

This is a featured supplementary freebie in the iTunes Canada store this week, to go with the little scrollbox thingy inviting you to discover Games Workshop's various offerings on the storefront page (which you can access here via this link which requires iTunes and where, apparently, the prices they normally charge for these RPG supplements will give you sticker-shock ).

Currently free @ iTunes (available to Canadians and most regions I spot-checked worldwide) in Made for iBooks Enhanced with interactive multimedia content, Tablet-friendly for iPad, and Mobile-friendly for iPhone versions.

And this has been the (late!) selected 3rd (non-repeat) free ebook thread of the day.

Because even though I don't game, I do appreciate a nice-looking giveaway of a reasonably substantial looking guidebook to a popular franchise which statistically probably has a bunch of fans lurking on MR, which also happens to make use of actual multimedia features which would justify making it a Made for iBooks enhanced edition (and including versions more compatible for those with less-compliant devices).
