Book Creator - odd error

I am creating a book using BookCreator and it keeps creating the book fine but with two instances of it in the same file (from the TOC onwards), i.e. I get the book and then there's the whole book again bar the title page.

To create the book, I copied the text from a .html file into BookCreator and then made a few slight amendments (added title page and chapter titles and deleted the original TOC and replaced with the BookCreator generated one). I have converted to both ePub and lrf with the same result.

Anybody come across this one before or can offer any suggestions/tips?

Send me the book in PM and I will take a look at it.

Incidentally, I've done this several times, but it was always my fault -- I inserted the book twice into the word document.

Been exchanging e-mails with =X= and, although it's not quite sorted yet, it's not for want of effort on =X='s part.

Just wanted to make public my thanks and appreciation of his efforts.

Try the following... save the HTML0 file without being compressed. Then try Calibre to convert it to ePub and see how it comes out.

Wrong tool, Jon. This thread is talking about X's Word-based tool, "Book Creator", not "Book Designer"

One thing to try maybe is save the document as HTML and see what it look like in your browser. if it looks ok, then try Calibre to Convert from there.
