Weird Install Issue
I installed Calibre from my laptop to an external drive... the drive died, and now any attempts to uninstall it crashes, and attempts to reinstall from a newly downloaded installer crashes because it apparently tries to uninstall the previous version first, which it can't do because the external drive is toast. Am I screwed here? I will never install a program to an external drive again.
Help... I can't read without Calibre!!! |

There is a way to remove broken Windows programs. Try Google.
In the meantime, Calibre Portable. Just replace the blank Library folder CONTENTS with your old Library folder CONTENTS |
