I am delighted to join you all. I found you somehow through www.Smashwords.com , where I have posted my books. I write well-researched historical romances. I do not use formulas, I take actual events from history, incorporate the real people who set those events into motion, and I color in the story line using creative imagination. I am always searching for that moment when something new entered history and set it in a new direction. Generally this tiny event goes unnoticed, such as the establishment of the first independent Germanic kingdom in history (formed when Gizeric the Vandal wrested a Province from Rome and declared it to be the Vandal kingdom of Africa) that led to the historical events we all had to study in school. We all remember Odoacer, but who remembers Gizeric, who gave the invading tribes the idea?

Let me know what your favorite historical age is. I'd love to hear from you.
