The Amazon Kindle blog has a list of the best books on Kindle this year (so far) - here are the first 5:

Only 1 title is $9.99 -- the others are higher priced.

I think this is the start of the end of the $9.99 best sellers.

A lot of new releases come out higher than $9.99 and then drop to $9.99 a week or two later when they're on the best seller lists.
