FirmWare Roll-Back

Very tech-savvy but somewhat "young" on eReader software. Looking for a forum or previous thread regarding instructions (and library locations) for rolling back Kobo (GloHD) eReader firmware. Do not currently need it (there is no emergency) but was wondering exactly HOW to do it (detailed step-by-step) and where a library depository would be located - just in case for the future.

I suggest one addition step to the instructions you will find in the links: Backup the KoboReader database in the .kobo directory of the reader. If anything goes wrong, this will get you back to your statistics etc.

Amazing. Thank you so much AnemicOak...this is perfect and exactly what I was looking for. Also, great idea/reminder from Ksquared on the database backup as well

As a new user to this site and these forums I can not tell you how impressed I am with the community here vs many (most) other forum sites which contain the worst the internet has to offer. Every single inquiry or thread contribution I have made has been met with patient, generous and helpful people...of which you both are included. Thanks very much again.
