Kindle Paperwhite: Sideloading Whispersync not functioning?

Hi all,

I seem to remember a while back getting whispersync to work with my Kindle 3G by downloading metadata, reconverting to MOBI, and then sending to device. Now that I've got a paperwhite, I actually have use for this since I always use the text-to-speech feature and now will need to use my Android Phone (Nexus 4) to do that.

However, the process doesn't seem to be working for my Paperwhite. Anyone else having issues?

you need to sideload the books. you can use calibre to make the prochess very easy

Uhm... yea.. Thats exactly the process I described above?

Crud, just realized the problem, can an admin move this to the Calibre forum? Somehow I messed up and posted to the Kindle forum.
