@barsanuphe, I just noticed the OP is not entirely clear as to where the prerequisites are. Perhaps you could link to the locations they are found, rather than merely naming them? It could avoid confusion by our less experienced members, which might be a good thing if on recent firmwares this becomes the preferred method of managing collections.

I added a few links for the requirements.
These days I've been reading more than hacking, and other things, and unfortunately didn't follow the whole 5.6.1 firmware debacle. I had an old version of the jailbreak, which didn't survive. Now I can't even launch KUAL

Sorry to hear it.

You can always fix that over the serial port, if you are comfortable doing that...

Also, I get the feeling somehow that I remember NiLuJe saying something about finding a fix for pghaworth's kindle while he was guinea-pigging 5.6.1... but I cannot find it anymore...

Thanks, but focus on finals and incoming friends, I'm not in a hurry (even though I had forgotten how awful the default screensaver is).

Hey Folks,

I've been an avid reader of this forum for a while now but this is my first post.
I've previously used Collections Manager with my Jailbroken PW2. As I have updated the firmware to 5.6.1 Collections Manager is now no longer working. So I decided to install Librarian Sync and it is working and creates the Collections correctly from Calibre.
The only thing is that even though the books are in the Collections they are also listed separately in the main list of books on the Kindle.
This was not the case with Collections Manager where books were only in Collections.

Is this expected behaviour for Librarian Sync or am I doing something wrong?

@ExcaliburRisen: IIRC, the behavior of the FW changed w/ the whole Cloud Collection mess, so it *might* be entirely normal. I stopped trying to figure out how the FW was supposed to behave on that front though, so YMMV

PW2 5.6.1.0.2 + Calibre plugin.

Everything is imported correctly but sorting by All Items -> Collection display all collections twice. In all other modes they are displayed only once.

@AcidWeb: Are the duplicates of the same type, or is one of them starred or Cloud (or however that's supposed to work)?

Same type.

Anyway - I fixed it. There is p_isArchived column in Entries table. Collections created by Kindle have 1 there. Collections created by LibrarianSync have 0.

After changing that to 1 everything start to work correctly.
