problems with Calibre since latest update

I recently updated my calibre running on windows, and am having problems with the read aloud function. Previously it read continuously, but since the update, it stops at the end of each chapter. I listen to books as I'm working (or playing) on the computer, so find it very frustrating to have to keep restarting the read aloud, especially in books with short chapters! please!

Is it happening on all books? If so run the viewer the debug mode by running

calibre-debug -w > log.txt

in a command prompt.

and let it read through a short chapter and then after it stops quit it and post the log.txt file

according to that log there was no stop in the transition between reading "saving" and "Now", there would have been a brief pause of a second or so while the text from the new chapter is processed but thats it. Are you saying that after reading the word saving the viewer stopped reading aloud and you had to swith to the next chapter and start read aloud again yourself? I dont see any indication of that in the log. Maybe attach an epub file demostrating the issue as well (if its copyrighted opena bug report and attach it otherwise attach it here).

I replied to this yesterday, but my post seems to have disappeared!

After I did the log and posted it, I went back to listen to my book read aloud, and it worked perfectly! I don't know if it was some kind og glitch, but it seems to have righted itself now, and the only difference I have noticed since updating, is that the pause at the end of a chapter, before the new chapter begins, is uch longer, but I can live with that, Thanks for you prompt help.
