Tolino Vision

Nach der 2. Generation des Tolino shines gibt es jetzt mit dem Tolino Vision eine neues Gerät auf dem deutschen Markt, das ähnlich wie der Kobo Aura eine plane Oberfläche besitzt. tolino.de

Mich überrascht, dass man es weiterhin bei allen Shops bestellen kann, obwohl die Zukunft einiger Shops ungewiss ist.

Optisch finde ich das Gerät eigentlich gut gelungen, der sensorische Homebutton könnte sich dabei aber als Nachteil erweisen, wenn man unfreiwillig beim Lesen auf das Feld kommt. Nachdem was ich gelesen habe, scheint die Software aber ähnlich oder gleich dem Shine zu sein.

Für mich persönlich uninteressant, weil ich mir gerade den imcoV6L angeschafft habe.
Wenn ich mir jetzt noch einen Reader anschaffen sollte, der außerhalb der Amazonwelt ist ,dann hat der so um die 8“-9,7“ . Seit ich nämlich den Kindle HDX 8,9“ habe, weis ich wie schön es ist wenn der Reader etwas größer ist.

Mir geht das mit meinen Geräten ähnlich, gerade in der 6"-Sparte bin ich gut versorgt.

Das Gerät ist aber sicherlich für den ein oder anderen interessant. Alle Eindrücke, die ich bisher auf geschnappt habe, sind durchweg positiv.

Ja, das hatte schon viel Schönes. Am Schmetterling hat man aber festgehalten, schon um auch weiterhin das weibliche Publikum zu betören und nicht zu vergessen das lustige Gesicht...

(Hatte ich erwähnt, dass ich gerade auf dem Bett mit dem Tolino shine liege, um eines der Onleihe Bücher zu lesen. )

Für mich auch uninteressant, da ich (noch) den Shine habe und damit ganz zufrieden bin, ausserdem warte ich noch auf das neue Pocketbook. Das hat ja auch ein Carta-Display und hoffentlich noch immer das altbekannte Ordnersystem...

Also wer mit dem Tolino Shine zufrieden ist, kann ihn auch weiterhin nutzen. Meiner Meinung nach ist es nicht zwingend notwendig auf den Vision zu wechseln, da sich die Neuerungen an der Software eher im Rahmen halten. Trotzdem gefällt mir das Gerät zumindest vom Gehäuse her besser als der Shine. Es fühlt sich insgesamt einfach ein Stück wertiger an.

Ist schon etwas her - aber ich hänge mich hier trotzdem mal dran.

Den zuletzt genannten Test hatte ich im Kopf, als ich auf einer Reise mal eben bei Thalia rein bin und den Vision dann gleich mitgenommen habe, so angetan war ich von seinem Erscheinungsbild.
Die Enttäuschung kam bei näherer Beschäftigung:
Hat schon mal jemand versucht, mit einem Tolino Links, vor allem Anmerkungen, anzuklicken? Das geht selbst mit einem Touchpen nicht. Die Seite blättert um, sonst nichts. Das ist der Preis, den man für die Totalumstellung auf Touchscreen zahlen muss? Welch ein Rückschritt!
Nicht weniger enttäuschend ist das Verstauen von Büchern. Es gibt keine Ordneransicht, und also muss man sich mit "Regalen" behelfen, wenn man einen Zugriff auf mehr als ein paar Dutzend Bücher haben will. - Aber hat schon jemand versucht, nach dieser Methode Aberhunderte von eBooks in entsprechende Regale auf dem Tolino zu sortieren? Das ist so gut wie aussichtslos, weil der Pool, aus dem man schöpft, stets der gleiche bleibt; d.h. man verliert total den Überblick, weil man immer wieder von ganz vorne anfangen muss und nachher nicht mehr weiß, ob man das Buch nun schon eingeordnet hat oder nicht. - Ein Desaster.
Ich bin mit fliegenden Fahnen zu meinem schlichten PB 611 zurückgekehrt!
Meine Lehre daraus: Die Tests gehen nicht wirklich in die Tiefe. Oder: Ich lege Wert auf Kriterien, die keinen Menschen mehr interessieren. Oder womöglich: Der angebliche Fortschritt ist ein dilettantisch getarnter Rückschritt.

Geht mir genauso! Mein Thema: Als Fan der Werkausgaben der Digitalen Bibliothek brauche ich zwingend mehrebenige (möglichst 4), verschachtelte Inhaltsverzeichnisse. Der Sony kann das (wenn ich mich recht erinnere), aktuell Pockebook. Kein anderen Hersteller scheint derart Ausgefallenes zu interessieren. Da fällt die Auswahl des Readers leicht.
