Device: Ipad pro 10,5 inch
[Ios] Wireless Connection not working - Timeouts

Hi

I've been using calibre for many years but only just downloaded the companion app.

I'm trying to connect wirelessly from CC on my Ipad pro 10.5 to Calibre on MacOS. I don't have a firewall, I'm not using a guest network, Wifi is private and hidden, and both Ipad and Mac are connected to the same router band (I've tried both).

To begin with CC would get detected but when I tried to send books to device the job log would stall with and the progess bar would read "undetectable".
After a while it would error with not enough space on device. I have 64 gb free space. I restarted the Ipad and the mac a few times, and installed the newest calibre version.

Then it got more puzzling.

CC will now detect Calibre, it says "initial sync", and then "waiting for calibre" Until it will timeouts after a few minutes and says "calibre disconnected". Meanwhile on the Calibre app, it never detects my ipad as connected.

I've read the FAQ and I've spend the entire day with this now.
Content server works fine but I already had that functionality in Marvin, so essentially I've paid for nothing.

Any help greatly appreciated.

So I read the File logs and figured problem was the CC app. reinstalled it and now it works. YAY
However Calibre freezes if you try to send over 100 books to CC at the same time
