Poetry Donne, John: Sonnets and Songs. Oct 20 2007

Collection of Donnes Poetry. (Not the "Holy Sonnets" I'll be doing those next. 'For whom the bell tolls' is in that collection not this.)

There are mostly love poems and sonnets devoted to beauty in this book.
I like these as a brief look at how people thought in the middle ages.

Thank you for doing this Roy. Someday we can put all these poetry lrf's together and make a great, indexed anthology of English poetry à la Norton. This is an underexploited area in ebooks so far.

Just wondering, Roy - those Donne poems generally have the paragraph markers (or line-ends, in a poem) stripped - in other words, they look like prose. Those should probably be left in for future projects.
