Onyx Note 2 Double Quote Marks

So I really like the Note 2, in fact it has exceeded my expectations. However there is one thing that is really bugging me and it has to do with the ebook reader's display of double quote marks. A begin quote mark looks like an upside down L and the end quote mark looks like a backwards L. The sorta look like square brackets with the bottom and top line missing respectively.

I have tried a variety of fonts and even downloaded some fonts from google just to make sure it wasn't something funky with all those preloaded noto blah blah fonts.

Has anyone seen this? Anyone have an idea for resolving this? its quite annoying.

ps. It all looks fine in calibre and the calibre editor. They are indeed double quotes in source epub file.

I saw a report saying that "end quotes" changed into backwards "L" when no indentation was chosen. Quite strange but you can check if it will make any difference.

Thanks! It worked. I had to deselect traditional as well.
