Josephine Tey was the pen name of Elizabeth MacKintosh (1896-1952). Here she is writing as Gordon Daviot.
The Privateer (1952) is a historical novel which covers the life of Captain Henry Morgan, a privateer who became Sir Henry Morgan, Governor-General of Jamaica. |
