It sounded like an interesting book until we get to the part about the church. Not everyone gets married in a church. I really thing removing the bit about the church and making it more generic would appeal to more people.

I can't imagine many people would wed with the distinction of wanting to get divorced in the future.

Your vision of the realities of marriage and divorce (and achieving some measure of future happiness when marriage does not work) seems rather naive.
