Books sent to Amazon Cloud are converted by their servers and then always EBOK tag is replaced by PDOC tag. So it's normal that you see Personal badge in such case.

How do you get the python script to work on a Mac? When I open Terminal and type:
Code:
python ExtractCoverThumbs_0.2-py.zip Code:
Traceback (most recent call last): File "/System/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/lib/python2.7/runpy.py", line 162, in _run_module_as_main "__main__", fname, loader, pkg_name) File "/System/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/lib/python2.7/runpy.py", line 72, in _run_code exec code in run_globals File "ExtractCoverThumbs_0.2-py.zip/__main__.py", line 20, in <module> ImportError: No module named PIL |

Option 1) You should install Pillow on your Mac: http://www.geeks3d.com/20131108/begi...l-programming/
Unfortunately it is not so easy Option 2) Download from https://github.com/quiris11/ExtractCoverThumbs/releases a package: ExtractCoverThumbs_0.3-mac.zip (it is standalone console app), unpack it and run from Terminal: Code:
./ExtractCoverThumbnails |

I'm sorry… I've uploaded wrong package. It's fixed now. You can download ExtractCoverThumbs_0.6-mac.zip file one more time. There should be only one file inside zip archive.

Quiris, thanks for this app and the updates. Question: would it be possible to create a modified package that would work with the higher dpi (300) of the Kindle Voyage? Presently, your app extracts to about a 212 x 329 pixel density. To be full-sized in the Voyage, my take is you need something more akin to 305 x 464. I've been resizing your thumbnail extracts in Microsoft Paint, but it would be lovely to not have to do that for every title. If I could code, I would do it myself!

^^calibre upped the max thumbnail_height in the universal kindle driver, from 330 to 470. Confirmed to work fine on the Touch/PW too.

Agreed, but side loading from Calibre doesn't give me syncing across my devices, so I prefer to email as a personal document and then download -- which then gives you the blank image and the need for Quiris' cool app.

And to mention that it does work properly on all devices. (The Touch, for example, won't take it into it's silly little silicon head to throw fits at the increased size. ) |

Gotcha. Misunderstood - thought you were offering it as a solution
