Bookworm works on Debian's Linux distributions and looking at the source code, it should be fairly simple(*) to have packages for other Linux distributions generated. I do use Linux as well as Windows and Mac OSX so I am interested even if I don't have even vague plans to switch to Bookworm as my preferred ebook reader in the near future.

The major reason for my interest in/liking for Bookworm is pretty much a philosophical preference for single purpose application instead of the Swiss army knife applications that seem to be preferred by many programmers and users.

* fairly simple for someone will not actually be doing the work.

Well, I'm Elementary now, but reading the comments here, I'll stick to Calibre reading.
