Delete replies or posts

Is it possible to delete replies or posts, if one would desire that? I cannot see a button for that.

No. but you can delete the content of your post by editing it and removing the content. It's polite to insert a [Deleted for <reason>] just so it doesn't confuse the thread.

You can also report a post and ask one of the mods/editors to delete a post (say if it was made in error). If they can do so without making a mess of an existing discussion, they will usually oblige.
