PocketBook 902 as external device
Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to use the PocketBook as an external monitor to display text or pdf files while working on a linux pc. Has anyone tried it yet? Could for example an X server be used on PocketBook? |

Hi csint,
there is no X-System on Pocketbook. But that's not a reason not to try and make your PB an external display. I consider it possible to receive your PCs actual screen (or the fitting part of it) via WiFi connection and paste it to your PB's screen using the inkview's canvas commands or the direct framebuffer commands. But that would need a more or less little program in C / C++. I could program that, but do not have the time at the moment and I am not the real expert. Perhaps someone else can be interested to do this, if you are not a programmer yourself? Cheers, Martin |
