So did I choose Road beyond Ruin. I usually go for the suspense book, but its first few pages annoyed me. The thriller had a rating of 2 stars from 2 reviewers - so again, no dice. Road Beyond Ruin sounds interesting, though I really prefer to have only true life stories about WWII.

I started reading it last night, it's well written and I'm enjoying it so far. It reads realistic. So you would probably enjoy it too.

There is that too. I only ended up getting 3 last year and 4 in 2017.

I like Barry Eisler and Charlie Holmberg but also want to try Blood for Blood this time around. I will probably skip Smoke and Summons. Although I have liked the other books I have tried by her, this one doesn't sound as interesting.

I picked up The Snow Gypsy as my first and Smoke and Summons as my second. I was considering The Forgotten Hours, but decided against it.

I pick them up (still a Prime member) but I've probably only read 1-2 since they started this. Too many other books further up in the TBR pile. But maybe someday ....

I know the feeling tubemonkey, lot's of the books I should have picked end up on Kindle Unlimited. I don't have Kindle Unlimited so the pressure is on !
