I attempted to fix the broken images on pages 1 and 3 of this thread (which work ONLY while logged into a mobileread account). I was hopeful that the wiki login (password reset) problem had been fixed by now. I requested a password reset, but just like has been a problem for YEARS, it requires a password change and that ALWAYS gives me this error message:
Quote:
Change password
There seems to be a problem with your login session; this action has been canceled as a precaution against session hijacking. Go back to the previous page, reload that page and then try again.
Bummer. Now I cannot log into my SECOND wiki account, so I guess I need to create a new account instead of a failed password reset. Painful...

EDIT: I just discovered why I did not finish fixing all the broken images before. While editing posts to replace image links, I got this error message (again, now):
Quote:
Unable to process the request. Please try again later.
Mobileread limits the posts I can edit to some ridiculously low number. Trying to fix broken links in this forum is an exercise in futility.

Apologize for reviving old thread, but I'd like to rip the battery off from my K3 and run it on powered all the time as weather station.
So I should separate LiPo battery from internal circuit and plug in some kind of charger set up to 4.2V? Am I right?

I don't think so.
The K3 will eventually refuse to boot if the battery won't charge. There are more than two connections. The replacement cells are not expensive. You can keep external USB power connected and the battery (a cell really) will stop charging or discharging and last about 10 years.

I've replaced them in two KK3s and a DXG.
