Yes, kobopatch has been designed to be relatively version-agnostic, and the patches have been designed to fail when applying if they need updates.

Regarding the patch updates, @jackie_w and I just haven't gotten around to fully testing everything yet. We're probably going to finish up with them sometime next week.

Your favorite ePub uniform font scale and Set font scale factor patches will not work. Moreover, the ePub uniform font scale cannot be updated, the code has changed. But I didn't really go into it...

Hey, I'm new so forgive me if this is a stupid question.

I just got a Kobo Forma and it updated right out of the box, the moment I connected it to my apartment's wifi.

However, the latest firmware in the Forma is from February 2021, and it is not updating itself to this latest firmware (or any after February 2021).

Should I be doing something else, or is this update not for the Forma?

This version is for the Elipsa, there will likely be a new version for all supported devices soon.

Just got my Elipsa which updated to this and changing fonts does not seem to be working. Fonts are changing at least somewhat, but all are serif and they don't look like they should. Anyone else experiencing the same issue?


Edit - I tried the same book on my old Aura One and I think it is the book not the reader.
Edit 2 - can confirm that the exact same file shows as sans serif on my Aura One and serif on my Elipsa while using the same font so renew my question. Thanks.

Is your KA1 patched? If it that could be why you are seeing different fonts. Without being patched, you might not be able to override the embedded fonts.

Not sure if I ever patched it (I might have), but good question. Decided to return my Elipsa (bad ergonomics for me), so my original question is only for curiosity now.
