Troubleshooting Is it possible to downgrade kindle's version?

Hi everyone, I've just registered, and I haven't even presented myself, so as soon as I finish writing this thread I'll make a new presentation one...
The reason I'm writing this is because since I upgraded my kindle from 4.0.1 to 4.1, I've noticed it consumes more battery when I'm not using it, when the screensaver is on... I don't know if its true, but when I have the oldest version, it never run out of battery by itself, and now I found it does...
I managed to found the *.bin file to "upgrade" to version 4.0.1 but when I try to use it as an upgrade, the device doesn't allows me to select the upgrade option... Is there any way to do this?

You cannot downgrade using an update file. To downgrade, you must flash a 4.0.0 main partition and kernel, from Dev Corner / simple debricking sticky thread.

Well I'm kinda new with this things... I've only used it as an USB using calibre, so I don't know where to start... I'll try to find it reading here :banghead:
